Community Music in Higher Education
Exploring the issues surrounding the development, provision and future of community music in higher education (CM-in-HE) is one of PALATINE's current themes.
If you are involved in community music in higher education - as a teacher, practitioner, researcher, or organisation - please join PALATINE's new focus group/discussion list that has been set up as a means to bring together those involved in community music in HE, and to identify, explore and discuss the themes, topics and questions that are of interest and concern.
The CM-IN-HE@JISCMAIL.AC.UK list is a 'private' list. Its deliberations will be confined to the members of the focus group. However, it is our intention - once the discussions have taken place - to produce a report based on the outcomes of those discussions. Those outcomes will inform the form and content of a conference on community music in HE that we intend to organise in the autumn.
